A University building

Six centuries of history, now a university guesthouse

The monastery of San Benedetto was built in 1393 on the south bank of the Arno. The riverside façade, with its three red niches and flamboyant Gothic windows, dates from 1850.

After its restoration it houses the University of Pisa guesthouse, with a study room, lounge, laundry and garden.
