Accessibility statement
Società Cooperativa Ballarò, which runs Residence Le Benedettine under a concession from the University of Pisa, is committed to making www.residence.unipi.it accessible in line with Italian Law 4/2004 and the AgID Guidelines, which refer to standard EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 level AA). The website is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant with standard EN 301 549 because of the content listed below. Everything else is compliant.
How it was checked
- automated tests (axe-core) on every page in all 5 languages, at 390 and 1280 pixels: no errors
- full keyboard navigation, with always-visible focus and links to skip to the content (Alt+Shift+C) and to the menu (Alt+Shift+N)
- colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text
- pages readable from 320 to 1920 pixels wide, without horizontal scrolling
- respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion preference
Content that is not accessible or outside our control
- The booking system for guests with a code is a TeamSystem Hospitality service: its accessibility depends on the provider.
- The request form includes an optional drawn signature: anyone who cannot use it signs by typing their name, which has the same value.
- The historic photograph of the monastery is low-resolution.
